What exactly is SRA3, and why is it used?

SRA3 measures 450mm x 320mm, which is slightly larger than A3 (420mm x 297mm). It is used because most printing processes require a margin, so the oversized sheet allows for full-bleed A3 printing.

The MPT printing is faultless but when I print using Tray1 with SRA3size  sheets it always prints slightly smaller. I have tried printing from different software (Quark8, Photoshop, and Freehand) and the outcome is the same.
I've had this printer for 5 years and this has only just started to happen.
I use Mac OSX 10.5.

SRA3
ISO paper size is 320 x 450mm.

It is an international standard size that facilitates the printing of A size finished brochures and leaflets. For slightly larger jobs a B size is used but is obviously dearer to buy.
